WHAT IS INVOLVED?
We are looking for a Technical Assistant to assist with technical delivery of DCC’s cultural programmes including productions, festivals, events and technical delivery at the Light.
This includes shows at the cultural venues (Gala Durham, Empire Consett & Bishop Auckland Town Hall) as well as providing technical support for events across the county.
This is an exciting opportunity for a keen, enthusiastic individual to join the technical team and work across a range of different existing and new projects.
WHAT WILL I NEED?
You should have a NVQ Level 2, or equivalent, in a relevant area and a First Aid qualification or willingness to work towards
Experience of writing risk assessments, method statements, of maintaining a safe working environment is essential – along with experience of working with contractors, customers and other third parties from a wide range of backgrounds.
