Hopetown Darlington is the region’s most exciting and newest visitor attraction. This ambitious project extends across a 7.5-acre site and encompasses a wagon themed play park, an immersive time travel experience ride and a gallery to watch live engineering in action. In addition, visitors can enjoy touring exhibitions, a reimagined state of the art museum and entertaining festivals and events for the whole family.
A spacious café and shop are also part of this incredible site which is steeped in Darlington’s rail heritage and will offer a family day out like no other. The venue will attract upwards of 300,000 visits annually, of which up to 100,000 are expected to be from outside the region. Hopetown Darlington is seeking inspired and driven individuals who can bring personality, energy and enthusiasm to the team.
As a Visitor Experience Team member, you will be bursting with personality, energy and positivity to deliver the highest standard of customer service excellence at Hopetown Darlington. Your role will be front facing and therefore you will have a passion for customer service as you welcome and assist a diverse cross section of the public. An ‘above and beyond’ approach to visitors is essential ensuring all customers’ needs are met and possess a high level of communication skills.
You will work across multiple areas of the venue, and no two days will be the same. Your responsibilities will be diverse, challenging and exciting as you work across the museum, exhibition space, outside play area, the immersive experience ride or at one of our thrilling events and festivals. Your working week will be nothing short of varied and stimulating and as an ambassador for Hopetown Darlington you will bring a creative flare to this dynamic, front facing role.
