About the job
Are you a skilled and adaptable technician with a passion for live performance and the arts? We’re looking for a Venue Technician to join the team at Arts Centre Washington and help deliver an exciting, year-round programme of theatre, live music, film screenings and exhibitions.
This is a hands-on role at the heart of a busy and creative venue. No two days are the same – you’ll support a wide range of events, ensuring productions run smoothly and audiences enjoy the best possible experience. From lighting and sound for live theatre and gigs to supporting film screenings and exhibition installs, you’ll play a vital role in bringing our programme to life.
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a well-rounded technician with practical experience in live events, particularly in lighting and sound. You’ll be confident working across technical areas including stage operations and basic AV, with a proactive, problem-solving approach.
As part of a small and dedicated team, you’ll also get involved in the wider day-to-day running of the venue. Flexibility, teamwork and a willingness to support different aspects of operations are key.
If you’re passionate about the arts, thrive in a varied environment, and enjoy working collaboratively to deliver high-quality live experiences, we’d love to hear from you.
