Salary amounts quoted are from the 1 September to 31 August and therefore if you commence employment part way through the academic year they are subject to an equated salary adjustment

Northern Education Trust, hetton Academy is seeking to appoint a Technology Technician to start as soon as possible. The successful candidate will assist in providing a safe and efficient technical service for pupils and teaching staff, and work closely with teaching staff to support, develop and further extend the work of the department and the experiences of the pupils. You will support the teaching and learning in the Technology department on a day-to-day basis as directed by the Head of Department. The role of the Technology Technician involves organising and maintaining the workshop, preparing equipment ready for practical demonstration lessons and at the end of each lesson you will ensure that all equipment is cleaned down and stored away securely. We are seeking candidates with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills with the ability to work well with both children and adults.
