Look no further! We have a fantastic opportunity for a Digital Media Support Officer to join our team here at Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council. 

In this role, you will support the communications team in creating and developing creative, innovative and engaging content which can be used across a range of platforms including digital media, social media, website and print.  

You will work closely alongside a variety of services across the Council to research, prepare and develop engaging content to maximise audience engagement across digital platforms. 

We are looking for someone to provide advice and guidance and, if appropriate, provide solutions on digital communications such as social media, video and audio content as well as animations for digital screens.

As well as developing a range of content, you will provide guidance, advice and technical support on the systems behind the social media channels the Council use, including Facebook Business Manager, Hootsuite, X (formerly Twitter), LinkedIn and Instagram.

There will also be opportunities to support the content delivery for exciting Council-led events, such as Stockton International Riverside Festival, Stockton Fireworks and Stockton Sparkles.
