WHAT IS INVOLVED?

 

We’re looking for proactive and reliable Casual Front of House Officers to join the team at Gala Durham. This flexible, hands-on role sits at the heart of our venue operations, supporting visiting companies, ensuring the safety of our building, and helping us deliver a smooth, welcoming experience for audiences and performers.

This is a casual role, offering flexible hours that will vary depending on the needs of the venue, including daytime, evenings, weekends, and event-based work.

WHAT WILL I NEED?

You should have a NVQ Level 2, or equivalent, in a relevant area and a First aid qualification or willingness to work towards.

We’re looking for confident, well-organised individuals who can work independently while maintaining a professional and welcoming manner.

You’ll bring strong communication skills, a practical approach to day-to-day operations, and the ability to carry out physical tasks such as moving equipment and setting up rooms.  Above all, we value reliability and a commitment to keeping our venue safe, efficient, and running smoothly.
