The team manages the corporate ICT managed service contract and the corporate mobile phone contract. It has responsibility for numerous technology solutions across the council, covering applications (including Microsoft 365), networking, hardware and cyber security. The team provides support with the procurement of new technology while also providing help and guidance with existing systems.
We are seeking a dedicated team member who has recent experience in ICT or Technology support, ideally within a local authority or large organisation. The successful candidate will demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal qualities, strong problem-solving skills, and a keen attention to detail.
Applicants should have experience dealing with people at all levels and providing guidance. The ability to work independently is required. Familiarity with Microsoft 365, PowerBI, Power Platform as well as skills in developing procedures and training materials are considered beneficial.
This position is a full-time, permanent post. It is based in the Civic Centre, Hartlepool, working a minimum of 2 days in the office each week.
